Engagement Session | Marissa & Peter | Quabbin Reservoir | Belchertown, MA
So excited to get back to blogging and introduce you to Marissa & Peter. Two sweet school teachers from Florida whose families live up here in the North East. We coordinated their holiday visit with families to sneak in their engagement session at the Quabbin Reservoir in Belchertown, MA. With our crazy weather this past week we had to reschedule Marissa & Peter's Engagement Session to New Years Eve. AND I was so glad we did. We had snow on the ground, which Marissa really wanted in their photos, we had beautiful sunshine and just a little bit (just kidding Peter) of wind and chill to keep them in each others arms.
Their romance began when they were both attending Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida. Peter swept into Marissa's life in college like a knight in shining armor. While Marissa's heart was breaking over a failed relationship, Peter made her realize he was the one and only for her. Their love was meant to be and Peter carried Marissa off into the sweet Florida sunset. I absolutely love hearing about how couples meet and Peter and Marissa's story just melted my heart.
The way they looked at each other throughout the session made my heart skip a beat. I loved how Peter called Marissa "babe" and was always making sure that she was happy and comfortable. As the sun began to set for the afternoon we took advantage of every scenic opportunity we could squeeze in at the Quabbin Reservoir. Such a gorgeous place for two beautiful people in love. We ended our session at the Quabbin Towers with some bubbly and lots of cold fingers. These two Floridans were troopers and never skipped a beat with showing their love and affection for each other. I cannot wait for your wedding in July Marissa and Peter. Until then, enjoy the sunshine and warmth in Florida.

P.S. A big thank you to Shoshana Wirth for introducing me to these sweethearts.
