The Phelps-Hatheway House and Garden | Suffield, Connecticut | Hannah & Sinjin's Intimate Wedding Celebration | October 7, 2017
I want to start by saying that I love old historic homes. Growing up in Connecticut myself I lived in a lot of them across the state. When Hannah and Sinjin told me that their venue was being held at The Phelps-Hatheway House and Garden in Suffield, Connecticut I knew I was in for a treat. The charm, the history and the beautiful gardens created another favorite of my many weddings this year!
The intimacy and love was so apparent throughout Hannah and Sinjin's wedding day. Especially with the elegant details of their venue setting inside the historic home's barn. You seriously felt like you were stepping back in time. I have to really give kudos to my couple lately....Do it yourself weddings are no joke and the amount of blood, sweat and tears that went into the curation was so present.
Hannah and Sinjin did not opt for a First Look for their ceremony so the excitement to see each other for the first time was so special. I love how much they laughed together. Truly the best advice I can give my couples...Keep laughing....How they met in high school in "Chorus". How they have waited for this moment and made it their own.....and more importantly how they seem to complete each other and have the sweetest true love!
Thank you Hannah and Sinjin for sharing your beautiful wedding day with me. Enjoy a few of my favorites.
