Roger Williams Park | Providence, Rhode Island | Nicole & Tim's Engagement Session | October 14, 2017

From the very first email inquiry I knew that Nicole and I were going to hit it off. I was over the top excited when her and Tim chose me to be their wedding photographer and even more excited to venture to this awesome location for their Engagement Session.

Roger Williams Park is like a little city and a photographers dream. So many locations and so little time. I think what I loved the most about Nicole and Tim's choice of location was the history that was in Nicole's family. Her dad came along for their session and was the official puppy watcher but he also had a beautiful story to tell me. He helped build the structure, Roger Williams Park Carousel Village, that holds the most beautiful carousel I have ever seen.  You could see the pride in his face while he told the story and it was just really awesome to know the sweetest fact was that Nicole was one of the first little girls to ride it. I was so happy to learn that Nicole had reserved the carousel just for our session! So much fun. I could have stayed in there all day and I think Nicole and Tim really enjoyed feeling like little kids again.

Our visit that day there was at least 4 wedding parties fighting for a moment on the beautiful iron bridge. We snuck in between the brides and grooms and I could see that Nicole and Tim liked alittle challenge so when I told them to run to the bridge before the other couples - they did with such big smiles. It was awesome.

Nicole and Tim absolutely adore their puppy Mookie (Pearl Jam) and while I may have sounded a little foolish to get him to look at me for a portrait - I think its one of my favorite photos from the day! Thank you both for sharing your puppy, your dad's story Nicole and your beautiful and sweet love with me. I am so excited for your wedding day. Enjoy my favorites!
